Keynote: Combating Service Member Stigmas

As a business owner, I am thrilled to announce that Fidelis is committed to helping bridge the gap in the Veteran hiring process. I have had many conversations with Veterans that continue to face challenges in the hiring process for multiple reasons: a) their resumes may not be as “polished” as their competition, b) networking is not their strength, c) after applying to a company that “hires Veterans,” the applicant never hears back!

To me, and many others, this is an opportunity to humanize the hiring journey for Veterans…especially if as a company you are advertising that your goal is to hire Veterans. The power of believing in a particular cause and advocating for what you strongly believe in is extraordinary. This is why today I am announcing that Ashley M. Gorbulja-Maldonado, CEO of GuideOn Education Consulting LLC, will be the Keynote Speaker of Fidelis' Networking Event on October 22nd. Mrs. Gorbulja-Maldonado will discuss "Combating Service Member Stigmas." Her bio is below.
